Welcome to "The Spider's Web" Fun Page.

ANIMAL GUEST PIC OF THE WEEK

I am the spider responsible for spinning this
web.  Check in from time to time for bits of
humor and a few homespun observations.
You will generally see a columnist named

Brick Tomner
show up with some comments.

We now have a guest book for website viewers to sign and leave their comments (good or
bad).  So far no one has bothered to use it.  Therefore, we have to assume all is well in
viewerdom and nobody has any complaints.  We are still getting a fair amount of hits per
month (see Statistics Page), but it would be nice to know who is looking at the site.  Don't be
afraid to make an entry.  Your privacy is strictly observed, and
names and email addresses will
be kept
totally confidential.  Only the other information and comments will be used in a
combined database for future use.   Help us out here -- we want to know your thoughts and
inputs.

EXERCISE FOR PEOPLE OVER 50

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have
plenty of room at each side.  With a 5-lb potato sack in each
hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and  hold
them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and
then relax. Each day you'll find that you can hold this position for
just a bit longer.

After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks.  Then try
50-lb potato sacks and then eventually try to get to where you
can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms
straight for more than a full minute.  (I'm at this level.)

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each sack.
